This person will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
ABOUT YOU
- You have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, setting our sales closers up for success and/or closing deals themselves. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. Having a prior book of business with local small to mid-sized trucking businesses is a major plus.
YOUR ROLE
We know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Account Executive to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services.
- Utilize Hubspot or other CRM tools, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to convert qualified leads into sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls with (prospective) customers, walkthrough product offerings, and close new business
- Report to management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
YOUR IMPACT
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to customer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing people into warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage them into sales next steps and ultimately new business, responsible for handoff to implementation and onboarding team
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s sales playbook
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Curiosity for or experience in SMB software products
- Team player, receptive to feedback and coaching
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Must be friendly, professional, organized, and outgoing
- Ideally have an existing book of business of small to mid-sized trucking businesses in the local or surrounding area
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Hubspot or other CRM software
- Prior experience as a sales development rep or sales executive with a track record of achieving sales quotes
- At least 1-2 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding sales targets
