Sales Development Representative

Our client’s sales team drives the entire company forward by bringing their software platform and marketplace services to new customers – every single day. They’re looking for a high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will initiate customer acquisition. This pivotal role is one of the first touchpoints for prospects and is responsible for outbound outreach, following up on inbound leads, qualifying prospective customers, and securing new sales meetings for Account Executives.   

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively process, respond, and engage with inbound inquiries to identify qualified leads and opportunities
  • Communicate and listen well for outbound outreach and inbound inquiries across a variety of channels (email, social media, phone, etc) 
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approaches and messaging to create target prospects lists
  • Profile strategic accounts, identifying key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin the sales cycle
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
  • Aptly manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving appointment production goals from the assigned territory or set of accounts

Qualifications:

  • Ambitious self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Authorization to work  in the US without sponsorship
  • 1-3 years of professional work experience or demonstrated success in lead prospecting
  • Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with CRM applications preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
